The Kids Instructor Course (KIC) was developed by Zeev Cohen (M.Ed., Head of the KMG Kids Division, founder of Israel’s largest and most successful Kids Krav Maga schools), together with Eyal Yanilov and the KMG HQ Team. Guided by Zeev and the KMG International Team, you will elevate your teaching skills and learn to deliver dynamic, age-appropriate Krav Maga instruction for children and teens. The program includes a comprehensive printed manual, personalized evaluations, and the official KMG Kids Certificate.
Course Objectives

Who Should Attend
This course is designed for KMG Instructors as well as practitioners with a minimum of P2 level who have proven experience working with children. The KIC is the gateway to one of the most impactful areas within the KMG system: teaching and empowering the next generation.
Whether you are already an experienced instructor or just beginning your path toward becoming one, the course will equip you with the knowledge, methods, and tools to teach Krav Maga effectively to children and teenagers. Depending on your entry level, you will be awarded the appropriate diploma (Kids Instructor or Assistant Kids Instructor), ensuring full transparency and a clear growth path within the KMG framework.
You will refine your teaching approach, strengthen your ability to connect with young trainees, and contribute to the development of Krav Maga in schools and communities worldwide.
In order to ensure a successful and safe course for all participants, your booking and attendance require agreement to the following:

You are a certified KMG GIC Instructor or a KMG Practitioner P2 level or above with at least 2–3 years of proven experience working with children.

You have a clear criminal record.

You have obtained a recommendation and approval from your KMG School Owner and/or your KMG Country Representative.

You are physically and mentally fit, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

You agree to the KMG Child Protection Policy and commit to comply with it in the future.

You will complete and submit the application form provided below on this page as part of your registration process.
Completing the Kids Instructor Course (KIC) opens exciting opportunities to teach children within a certified KMG school. Depending on your background, you will receive one of the following diplomas:
1. GIC-Certified Instructors → Kids Instructor Diploma
Fully qualified to teach children within a certified KMG school.
2. Non-GIC Instructors → Assistant Kids Instructor Diploma
Certified to teach children within a KMG-certified school, as part of a team that includes a fully qualified GIC Instructor.
3. Non-GIC Instructors with P5 Level → Kids Instructor Diploma (with transparency note)
To qualify, you must also complete the Instructor Development Course (online, EUR 195), which can be taken before or after the KIC.
Your Path to Growth
Not GIC-certified yet? No problem! As an Assistant Kids Instructor, you can gain experience by teaching kids under the supervision of a fully qualified GIC Instructor within a KMG-certified school. This is a valuable step toward becoming a fully certified Kids Instructor in the future!
Transparency Note for Non-GIC Certified Instructors:
The Kids Instructor Diploma qualifies you to teach children up to the age of 15 within a fully certified KMG school. To teach individuals aged 16 and above, a full General Instructor Course (GIC) certification is required.
