In order to organize a successful and safe camp for all, with your booking and attendance you agree to observe the following:

• You are a KMG G4 level or up.
• You are physically and mentally fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in the camp, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
• You observe the rules, policies and procedures of the camp and event venue including in relation to health and safety and any reasonable instructions issued by KMG.
• You behave in a respectful, professional and appropriate way that does not breach the laws or regulations of your home country or of the State of Belgium or that risks bringing the Expert Camp or KMG into disrepute.
• You ensure you have adequate insurance for your own requirements, including personal accident and travel insurance, prior to attending the Expert Camp.
• You ensure you have all necessary travel documentation, including but not limited to visas and other entry permits into the State of Belgium, and that you comply with all health formalities and any applicable laws.

Please ensure you bring all your protective equipment. Please wear official KMG uniform or your club branded uniform.

You can be tested for your next official KMG level, if you

1. Have the approval by your School Owner (for students), or approval by your Country Director/Representative (for instructors)
2. Fulfill the minimum waiting time between levels (G level = 8 months; E 1 = 1 year, E2 = 2 years, etc.)
3. Invested significant training time into your preparation before the camps
4. Are approved by the camp’s coaching team the day before testing
5. Hold a valid KMG passport

Please note that there is no option for ‘grading only’.
In the Expert Camp the following levels will be tested:

• E levels: Test for E1 to E3

Individual Responsibility

Each KMG community member has an individual responsibility to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Keep yourself updated and follow the current public health guidance and regulations.
The usual cancellation conditions apply if individual negligence (except for proven acute Covid-19 illness) leads to the cancellation of participation.

Agreement to Comply with Public Health Expactations

All camp participants are expected to follow COVID-19-related public health guidance. 

Expectations include the following:

• Observe basic hygiene
• Participate in COVID-19 testing as directed
• Collaborate in contact tracing if necessary
• Take reasonable steps to report and respond to symptoms of COVID-19
• Follow isolation or quarantine requirements as instructed

Hygiene

Avoiding exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19 as well as to other infectious diseases is crucial to the health and well-being of our community. We encourage all community members to take these steps:

• Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
• Avoid close contact with other people when sick
• Clean and disinfect

To continue to reduce the spread of COVID-19, it is recommended that all participants conduct a lateral flow test at least every 48 hours.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in KMG training program, related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:

1. The risks of injury and illness (ex: communicable diseases such as MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19) from the activities involved in this program are significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce these risks, the risks of serious injury and illness do exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS K.M.G – Krav Maga Global Ltd. their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

With my booking I confirm that I have read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing up, and do so freely and voluntarily without any iducement.

If you have already registered for one of our events or professional development workshops, and you are no longer able to attend the training, our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Full refund minus a EUR 50 administration fee up to 30 days out of your scheduled training
• 50% refund after that up to two weeks out from the scheduled date
• No refund within two weeks of the event date
• An exception will be made for an unexpected illness, i.e. COVID-19 related issues and a refund of 85% or a full credit to attend an upcoming workshop can be issued

Transferring Your Ticket

Instead of a refund, you can also transfer your spot to another person who meets the event requirements and is also approved by the appropriate body. We can transfer tickets up until the day before the event. If you transfer your ticket, you are responsible for ensuring that any physical (course) materials received are handed over to the person collecting your ticket. K.M.G. – Krav Maga Global will not be able to ship another set of materials out.

To do this, please email contact@krav-maga.com with the subject line “Ticket Transfer: [Name of Workshop]”. Please write to us using the same email address provided at registration, and include the full name and email address of the person you would like to transfer your ticket to. We’ll take it from there!

Rebooking Your Ticket

If you are no longer able to take part in your booked event, you have the option of keeping the fees you have already paid with us as credit for future KMG-HQ events. The following rebooking fees shall apply:

• Up to 30 days out of your scheduled training: free of charge
• After that up to two weeks out from your scheduled date: 20% of the event fee
• Within two weeks of the event date: 50% of the event fee
• In the case of a no-show or cancellation on the first day of the event, the full event fee shall be due

Please note that events within the State of Israel can only be transferred to other events in Israel.

Changes to the Course of the Event
We do our best to meet the advertised event conditions. But sometimes unforeseeable things can happen.

• KMG shall reserve the right to replace or cancel individual instructors at an event, provided that this does not affect the overall character of the event.
• KMG may, without prior notice, also include individual online instructors in in-person events. The participant shall then have no right to a reduced fee or cancellation if this corresponds to less than 50% of the event duration and the participants have the opportunity to put questions to the online instructor(s).

K.M.G. – Krav Maga Global Cancellation

Cancellations are the last thing we want, but sometimes the only choice.

• KMG shall be entitled to cancel an event for commercial or organizational reasons.
• In this case, KMG shall refund the participation fees already paid. Any further claims shall be excluded.
• Any cancellation or rebooking fees for transport or accommodation booked by the participant shall not be reimbursed by KMG. KMG advises that it is possible to book flexible rates with transport companies (e.g. railway and airlines) that include free cancellation or to take out insurance that covers the cancellation of the event.
• Irrespective of the cancellation of the entire event, KMG shall be entitled to refuse registration for an event without providing reasons or to cancel participation. In such a case, KMG shall refund the participation fees already paid. Any further claims shall be excluded.
• KMG shall be entitled to terminate the contract with the participant or contractual party without notice for good cause. In this case, KMG’s entitlement to payment of the event fee shall not lapse. Good cause shall be deemed to exist in particular if the participant or contractual party’s actions are contrary to KMG’s Code of Ethics.
