05/2011 – Open Seminar in Sweden

About 25 instructors from Scandinavia participated in KMG’s three day periodical Instructors’ Further Education and Update Seminar in Sweden.

Training included mental preparation, determination, perseverance, controlled aggression and more.

We focused on new curriculum material, fighting skills and simulations. The main simulations included: prioritizing, identifying the level of risk and danger, improving decision making under stress, and naturally – a strong emphasis on choosing the correct solution for different problems. All this in order to utilize the knowledge and to acquire the needed experience.

In addition, about 70 people from different clubs took part in a one day Open Seminar. We were training indoors but also outdoors in a cool small park under the sunny sky – a day of perfect weather of Sweden.

Eyal was running the seminars, Tommy was assisting, and the local branch did a fantastic job of coordinating all organization and support work.

We would like to thank all the participants and instructors for doing a great job, for the sweat and for the newly acquired black-and-blue marks (temporary KM makeup :-) .
