In the Israeli security and defense forces, Krav Maga has been successfully used to train law enforcement officers and undercover agents since the 1940’s. Over the years this knowledge has been passed on to other Law Enforcement units such as SWAT teams, Air Marshals and intelligence agencies around the globe through the development of the Krav Maga system by Eyal Yanilov and Krav Maga Global (KMG). This has been facilitated by Eyal Yanilov and the KMG Global Team of Instructors based on 25 years of experience in developing and teaching Krav Maga to the Law Enforcement sector.

Modern security forces need the proper methods and tools to guide officers and agents in the development of essential technical, tactical, mental and physical capabilities. Study and training in self-defense, 3rd party protection, defensive tactics, hand-to-hand and close quarters combat (with or without a weapon in hand) is a key part of that education.
The Krav Maga Global approach takes all types of training to a higher level, with proven results. KMG avoids instructional methods which train officers to be boxers and kickers who get good results in the ring, or mere operators of equipment – technicians who only know how to use batons, firearms or other “tools” that make holes in paper targets.
KMG conduct seminars and specifically tailored courses for Law Enforcement agencies which includes relevant Krav Maga techniques and tactics for apprehending and controlling suspects, shooting range training for combination of non-lethal and lethal-force, as well as scenarios and CQB training sessions. With indoor and outdoor training, simulations and scenario-based training, participants are elevated to the highest possible level – mentally, physically, technically and tactically.
In addition to regular Law Enforcement duties, members of Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) units, or your local equivalent, have to deal with situations like hostage rescue, high-risk arrests and serving of warrants in environments that requires a higher level of training, experience and mental preparedness. At KMG we believe that correct and challenging training saves lives out on the streets. That is why we put emphasis on simple, yet effective solutions based on common threats presented to the different units. The Krav Maga solutions use gross motor skills coupled with technical and tactical proficiency. We conduct general and specific SWAT courses around the world according to the units specific needs and tasks. SWAT courses that we conduct are not announced in our calendar unless the hosting unit or organisation explicitly approves this. If you want to host a SWAT course or you know more about the KMG SWAT course, please contact us via email.

Well-equipped Military or Law Enforcement personnel is common enough, but are they also well trained to deal with different levels of conflict? Are they capable of correct decision-making during high-stress events, especially when these are occurring on a daily basis, and sometimes several events, raids and arrests per day?
Educating officers, agents or soldiers to be complete combatants is our primary concern.
S.W.A.T. officers are in the front of the Law Enforcement sector. It is essential, therefore, to develop determined and aggressive S.W.A.T. officers / fighters who are also considerate and level headed, capable of fulfilling demanding and dangerous tasks, as well as maintaining high levels of physical and mental resistance and stamina. Their daily routines include constant demand for action and decision-making under very stressful conditions.
Modern Law Enforcement forces need the proper methods and tools to guide and instruct their S.W.A.T. agents and members of elite units in the development of essential and advanced technical, tactical, mental and physical capabilities. Study and training in self-defense, 3rd party protection, defensive tactics, hand-to-hand and close quarters combat (with or without a weapon in hands) is a key part of that education, as well as skills that are unique and essential for S.W.A.T. officers.

KMG avoids instructional methods which train officers to be boxers and kickers who get good results in the ring or mere operators of equipment /technicians who only know how to use batons, firearms or other “tools” that make holes in paper targets.
