P-G-E Camps in Israel

 

  • Hard groin protection (definitely for men; optional for women),
  • Mouth guard,
  • Shin guards,
  • Wrestling/mat shoes (recommended), and tennis/running shoes. If you don’t bring wrestling/mat shoes, you may need to train barefoot on the mats. The tennis/running shoes will be utilized outdoors.
  • Boxing gloves (14 oz.) and hand wraps are optional.
  • Jeans/military pants with a good belt will be fine for the shooting range.
  • Most of the gear can be purchased in Israel, and participants can buy KMG T-shirts and other equipment in Israel. Please bring a swimsuit.
  • Small bag for daily training gear

Visitors find the wide variety of food in Israel very tasty, healthy, and inexpensive. Vegetarians will have no problem, and fresh fruits/vegetables/juices are everywhere. The tap water is safe to drink, although bottled water is inexpensive, readily available, and is often bought by tourists. (more…)

Train

The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is via train. It takes one hour and fifteen minutes to get by train to the hotel.

The train departs from the arrival area at the airport (signs will be there). There is a direct train from the airport to Haifa, you will need to get off at the first stop in Haifa called “Hof Ha’carmel”. Once getting off the train you need to go to the western side of the station (the side where you will see the sea). (more…)
